Uppsala sångarförbund bildades i november 1904 som den första icke- // akademiska manskören i Uppsala. Initiativtagare var docent Gottfrid Kallstenius. // Förbundets syfte var att sammanföra personer ur skilda samhällsklasser i Uppsala med omnejd för att öva fyrstämmig manssång. // Från år 1909 ingår Uppsala sångarförbund i det under samma år bildade Upplands sångarförbund. |
